I still can’t believe that “Adults” got dumped on by critics last year. New season just dropped and the first episode had me in literal tears.
Also a massive own-goal to nominate a truly clueless nepo-Boomer that will likely force the GOP to spend money defending a senate seat in a state Trump won by 18 points.

Increasingly I am a single issue voter in local politics, which is that everyone drives like a homicidal sociopath and no one even pretends to try to stop it.
Hard to point to a single high-profile senate race where Republicans lead in an average of the last few polls. Yes there’s a lot of trashy or candidate-sponsored surveys but this feels different from 2018 when a lot of Dems in reach states had already started to fade.
As a political scientist i have signed many open letters defending free and fair elections, congressional oversight of the executive branch, and federal funding for science. It’s a wild choice to make this your first one.

It's unconscionable to treat people who were here legally literally yesterday like this. It's not just that it's morally bankrupt to rescind the TPS order. It's fucking shameful to bait and switch other human beings who came here for refuge and have done nothing wrong other than existing.
