One of Hideo Kojima's real talents is that he would have exactly this idea but the stew would be dropped off by a drone that sings a little jingle which can alert enemies if they're in range. You then get a phone call from a nuclear scientist who warns you not to eat too much starch and dairy.
yeah sure whatever, let lara croft cook potato stew on her phone for 2m0s of damage resistance who gives a shit anymore

Flicks & Pics in Eugene, Oregon, aka my introduction to film and also the basis for a lifetime of opinions about how to curate media correctly. I watched everything from A Taxing Lady to Brain Dead. They refused to charge money for Brooke Shields films. Tuesdays were $1 rental days.

Optimist: the glass is half full Pessimist: the glass is half empty Game programmer: actually mFull is a bool so we can't support "half."

Well, we did it - more than $250k for game devs who have been laid off, to be distributed by @videogameworkers.bsky.social. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who donated their time, games, and money to help folks out in a time of need.
Alright y'all, this is it! The final stretch for the game industry hardship fund. We've got $13k to raise in 14 hours to meet the final goal, I think we can do it. itch.io/b/3802/game-...
There's a vague message about individualism and the collapse of society embedded in the way Shift At Midnight sets up its endings, one that I'm not sure it's even aware of. It's a Papers Please-like in which the way to get the best ending is to let everybody through so that you can monetize them.
1. I will never log off 2. thanks for flagging 3. torment nexus 4. whoops forgot about dre for a sec
What would you put on the Mount Rushmore of all time Tweets? (Mount Rushmore means 4. Do not be a coward and hedge by saying more than 4. Make a decision. (Less than 4 is fine though))
"Paintings of him come out looking like someone else" is a super creepy ability that someone should use in a story.
I am going through Bram Stoker’s earliest notes on DRACULA today - they include a list of the powers and features of the Count (then named “Wampyr” before Stoker stumbled on “Dracula”), many of which are never elucidated in the book…
Not only is this a super cool thing to be doing for our industry, there are some badass games in this bundle. I bought it, so should you.
In response to the unprecedented number of game developers laid off this year, we have created a bundle on itch to benefit a Game Industry Hardship Fund, managed by @videogameworkers.bsky.social. More than 100 games for 10+ bucks! Please share widely and donate generously! itch.io/b/3802/game-...

I'm a big Indigo De Souza fan, but I'm not sure where her hate for celestial bodies comes from.
Still booking mastering slots for August/Sept and I'd love to do more soundtrack/score work. Game and Film composers and mixers, get at me! I would love to collaborate on your OST. ❤️

"OK sir, this is going to be a very normal family photo of you and your wife and beautiful children standing in front of your house. Now I'm going to need you to stand way apart from each other, that's right. Now Timmy, love the outfit, go do the trance thing you do over by the fountain. Perfect."

saw this post years ago and will never ever forget it. sometimes you need to tend to the place from which you create, before you can create again
People really do not appreciate the importance of the "do nothing" phase in the creative process. We are all about the kinetic energy, and forget its duality with potential energy.
