The current design I'm wrestling with, whilst I'm away from my usual setup and current project, feels so much better with proper Dominoes! The rumors are true, they are fun to play with!

A prototype game state setup on a pokemon playmat. The center has a few dominoes with dice atop them in various spots. They are stacked according to a card diagram. There are 4 pools of dice to the right below a small card that reads, "less than or equal to 1." The upper left has some cards with glass beads on them and a small meeple on one of them. The lower left has stacks of the remaining dominoes. Off the playmat there are two cups of dice. One of blue dice and another of black dice.

I give it less than a year before Magic starts going full AI art too. The CEO says as much in this interview, they’re moving beyond just using the AI for “productivity” You don’t need to give them money. There are thousands of other, better, AI free games.

Had some ideas for a potential game design and found myself needing some dominoes only to realize that I dont have a set! I will need to fix this error ASAP! But in the mean time, I made a quick one to play around with.

as a tiny nobody publisher we absolutely put effort into vetting designers, artists, and licensors, so if you think a fairly large Real Publisher is getting into bed with Potter and gamergate by accident, that they didn't do the moral/optics math & decide they were fine with it, you are an idiot

My car broke down so I've not been able to work on the last of my Cribbage inspired Solo RPG. So instead, I've started a little handmade proof of concept for a totally different game for from my infinitely long list of board game ideas! It's also helped me draft my own letters of recomendation!

Shows a series of cut out index cards with various colored shapes drawn onto them on top of a Charizard playmat. There is writing and icons handwritten on them. The card in the upper right corner reads, "The Ladder Prototype 1.0" there are 4 copies of a card in the middle whos title reads, "Letter of Recomendation"

Finally did some test prints of the new print-and-play mini narrative game I'm working on! It uses Cribbage as a means to resolve encounters and has a sprinkle of choose your own adventure, to taste! Excited to release this project hopefully soon!

I'm bad at social media generally, so here's a quick little project I did this morning for my new copy of Armello: The Board Game. I used some cork material and cut out little shapped bases for the enamel pins that came with the Kickstarter. They'll replace the Quest Markers in game!
