The height of COVID was an incredibly stressful time with a lot of individual & ambient cultural trauma attached to it and, also, at the same time, many of the people who are most vocally Not Over It and never going to Get Over It were basically asked to care about other people & be bored for a bit

Extending Moniak was a silly roster move, now getting worse with how much Jake McCarthy shows an ability to play on the road and against lefties. Not sure you can keep both AND Carrigg/Veen/Condon. Neither Jake or Mickey are anyone I’d keep around but seems like the Rockies chose the wrong one.
