Everything demands you have a phone to login...having emails logged in on a trusted device isn't enough. Which sucks! I often want to lock my phone away and forget that it exists for periods of time, or throw it in a lake. I don't like The Smartphone. The Smartphone is a devil's bargain.

everyone’s gut reaction is going back to physical games but all digital feels like an inevitability even if it should be 10 years from now the real solution is better digital rights you shouldn’t have to check in online with a game you own, even if it’s on a hard drive rather than a CD

Among the layoffs was character artist Christiane Meister — a 27-year veteran of Bethesda and (as far as I can tell) one of the longest tenured women in games, period. She worked on Argonians + Khajiit in TES3, horses in TES4 and TES5, Fallout creatures, and more. (cont'd)
