We survived GenCon Writers Symposium 2026, y’all (and that’s saying something considering the occasional tornado). I was so busy running around I barely got to enjoy it. Luckily, my interns and friends made sure to slow me down to experience what we were curating.

Also, after getting over the terror that Luffy's stretchy arms caused, as someone who doesn't trust: Netflix Originals, live-action versions of animation, or American remakes of anime, the Live Action One Piece is actually a really fucking good adaptation.

Samhain LOVES greenies chicken flavored cat treats (because chicken is his favorite thing in the world). He will yell for them when I let the dog out. Ok so I really liked the movie but 1) that was a lot of body horror and eye things 2) the odyssey totally reads as someone telling stories and trying to one-up each other. “Did you hear this one?” “Oh you think that’s good, wait till you hear THIS one!”

Lol 100 years ago only two of my grandparents were alive, so I would either be a 9 yo Swiss-German boy on a farm near Beaverton Oregon or a baby in Bonesteel, South Dakota.
