Tomorrow is the last day to file for a special election replacing McConnell in Kentucky, so I expect sometime after Five o' clock tomorrow night he might suddenly pass away due to complications from a fall he suffered some weeks back.

If you’ve never seen the movie Brotherhood of the Wolf before I need you to understand that in the final fight they give the villain a sword made of bones that also somehow transforms into a chain whip and then back into a sword and this is a live-action movie set in pre-revolution France.

I’m always going to laugh out loud when someone is introduced to me as or introduces themself as an influencer. I don’t do it to be a dick or make a point, it’s just never not funny to me. It’s like someone confidently telling you they’re a wizard. How am I not supposed to laugh at that?

It’s really weird how, completely regardless of the genre, story, or setting, everyone’s hair is super short in a TV series’ pilot/first season but always gets progressively longer as the series goes on.

During the Create Your Own Novel panel at SDCC this year, the best proposal I have ever heard from another panelist was made, specifically: writers should have walk-on music like wrestlers when we come out for panels.

I just turned 44 and I still haven’t decided what my Thing will be this year. I’m saving getting really into bespoke three-piece suits and training for an international strong man competition for 45, so maybe 44 can be about like, whittling historical wooden weapons? Or maybe ballroom dancing?
