There are 4 houses for sale within a couple blocks of us, asking prices $390k, $395k, $440k, and $450k. My neighborhood is fine - reasonably-sized mid-century homes. Those prices are absolutely *absurd*

Foolish scheduling to have both Margo Price and Sierra Farrell on different stages at the same time at the MN State Fair. Seen Margo twice already this year so Sierra wins tonight. But it’s wrong I should have to choose between them!
Opening all the buildings at 7am when the Fair opens instead of waiting until 9am would help a bit.

I was worried about Tame Impala tonight because the new album is a dud. But holy shit it was a *fantastic* show. The crowd was really diverse, too, from parents to teens to everything in between. It was like the Breakfast Club up in that bitch. Gift link to my review:

I worked all summer, but tomorrow school starts up again in earnest. That means 9-10 hour days, getting emotionally dragged and physically injured over and over. Coping by buying show tickets and planning trips, go figure. 😈

Unrepentant sucker for a gimmick, part x: Strawberry pop tart liquid death iced tea? Start is overly sweet artificial strawberry; hint of black tea in the middle, and then fades to a captain crunch/malt finish? I guess they nailed it. “Natural flavors” in the ingredients is working real hard.
