I was away whilst the news of Jason Arday's tragic death broke, but is too important to stay silent on. This is simply heartbreaking. But the events that occured were not accidental; they were a manipulation of political and media power against a scapegoated individual, unceasing until his death.

A treat to preside at a midweek Eucharist in St John's Church Epping today - my first time presiding at another church!

It is great to receive a hard copy of this new book about bisexual Christians in Europe, which I wrote a chapter for! My contribution explores life as a bisexual/queer man, being a priest in the Church of England, married to a (wonderful!) woman, and finding God in all the grey areas and mess!

These last twenty-four hours have been powerful; my first of these Holy Week services as a priest. I have stood where Jesus did. I shared a meal with friends as Jesus did. I washed feet as Jesus did. I watched and waited as Jesus did, as others left one by one. I carried the cross as Jesus did.
