Plant phys folks - question- can city lights increase PAR that much to increase growing seasons? Somewhat skeptical of a PAR impact - but suspect that the warming and artificial water and fertilization signal is much much larger 🌾🌐

Satellite data indicate that artificial light in urban areas can extend plant growing seasons by up to three weeks compared to rural regions, with the effect most pronounced at the end of the season. doi.org/g9qgz9
