thanks to everyone who reached out about this, Melpert is doing much better (off his tits on kitty-morphine but better) his kidneys were overloaded because his bladder was blocked but the vets removed the blockage and we're just waiting on some results to find out what caused it.

Absolutely. I went to uni in Manchester in the 1990s when it was still affordable. Now my son’s girlfriend, who also went to uni there, has a really good job with a Manchester law firm but can’t afford to live where she works. This is a ludicrous situation and it has to change.

Various things together: 1) Papers and broadcasters love to set Big Tests for politicians to prove they’re Serious and deserve a hearing as a potential future government. The Times literally set these out in an editorial. Whatever tests they were, Reform have plainly failed to meet the standard.
