Servo now passes 100% of WPT tests for the WebCrypto API, all 73,292 subtests, covering 25 cryptographic algorithms 🎉 A complete, spec-correct cryptography implementation in an independent Rust-powered browser engine is a big milestone!

Os responsables das tecnoloxías que fan posible unha web aberta déronse cita na Coruña

O recinto de PALEXCO na Coruña acolleu entre os días 15 e 17 de xuño unha nova edición do Web Engines Hackfest, un encontro que xuntou a unha parte significativa da comunidade internacional responsable das tecnoloxías que sustentan a web. No encontro discutíronse temas como a accesibilidade, a seguridade, a gobernanza, a interoperabilidade dos navegadores e mesmo a intelixencia artificial na web, que centraron tanto relatorios como sesións colaborativas. Para saber máis deste evento falamos cun dos seus coordinadores, Manuel Rego, de Igalia, compañía responsable de que unha xuntanza desta magnitude teña lugar en Galicia.

A segunda xornada do Web Engines Hackfest converteu este martes o PALEXCO nun grande laboratorio de colaboración arredor das tecnoloxías que sustentan a web moderna. Tras unha primeira xornada centrada nos estándares, a accesibilidade e a gobernanza da plataforma web, o protagonismo recaeu desta vez sobre WPE WebKit, o proxecto impulsado por Igalia para navegadores integrados, e sobre unha intensa actividade de grupos de traballo especializados.
