Listening to a youtube show on war. "Recently Ukrainian president Zelensky sacked his defence minister AND his Chief of the Army. For more on what this means for Ukraine, I spoke to a Russia expert (insert name here)". It's so subtle no one in the comments even noticed it.

I joined Louis Sykes on "The Trump Report" to talk about what I discovered while writing my next book, 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘸, on Russia's long-term programme of political subversion of the USA, and whether it has succeeded. Louis called it "alarming". See what you think. youtu.be/dKLECqMRNy8?...

The first review of my next book, "American Overthrow", on Russia's long-term programme of political subversion of the USA. It's a heartfelt one, because it's by Heidi Cuda, who has spent many years watching Russia succeed. (Link to book in first reply.) www.bettedangerous.com/p/american-o...

This, from highly experienced Russia hand @nigelgould-davies.bsky.social, matters: when somebody describes themselves as being part of the "Russian opposition", it is essential to enquire further: opposition *to what*, exactly? [1/3] spectator.com/article/does...

Does Russia’s exiled opposition want what’s best for Europe?

Europe welcomed genuine political dissidents during the Cold War, and should continue doing so. But some argue Europe should go further.

Startling even by the BBC‘s standards of treating well-known problems as inexplicable mysteries if they involve its preferred social groups. An in-depth report on the violence and viciousness of hare coursing, without a single mention of whose “culture” it comes from. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Gangs, violence and dumped dead animals: The hidden world of illegal hare hunts

Farmers talk of attacks as police receive nearly 9,000 reports of banned hare coursing, the BBC finds.

Here we go again. KG to L'Express: "here are all the reasons why the 'Narva next' and 'little green men in Estonia' scenarios of a decade ago are nonsense". L'Express to the world: "SCENARIO 2. Narva... Russian-speaking minority... former Soviet republic... little green men... Daugavpils, Suwalki"

First Starmer set about liquidating the kulaks as a class through taxing family farms into oblivion. Now his successor has not a five year but a 10 year plan of expropriation from productive members of society to pay for welfare and benefits. Fortunately British PMs don't last long these days.
