Question: where do folks buy their game assets, besides Unity Asset Store? I looked at itch before but tbh found search/browsing really difficult (tho maybe it's better now). Would love some alternatives that don't lock me into a specific engine ecosystem.
We need to train AI to feel pain. So when it invariable turns on us, we can hurt it. AI agents need a virtual equivalent to balls we can kick them in.
They should have outsourced it to us. It would have cost $500k and there would be a poop button.

It sure as hell won't make sense with adoption shot in the kneecaps by hardware that costs $1200 - $1800. There simply aren't enough customers that have interest in each game to cover the spread.

The recently published PHP vulnerability affects all PHP versions between 5.4 and 8.4 - basically a decade of PHP releases. Wordpress runs on PHP. Drupal runs on PHP. My own presskit() runs on PHP. If you run PHP anywhere, you should go check which version it is -now-, and update if affected.

i always felt my real super power as an indie dev is being able to "get shit done." I can outline my tasks and set deadlines and stick to them no matter, even if it means scoping down or compromising on things (and as I got more experienced, I got better at setting deadlines with comfortable slack)
