It was over for Max Miller politically when he said his wife couldn’t have been abused because she offered to make him dinner 6 days later. He may not have known it when he said it, but that was the end. You have to be a sick bastard to come up with that as your defense.

Congratulations to Dr. Abdul El-Sayed on his historic victory. AIPAC poured a record $30 million into backing Haley Stevens and still lost. Voters can’t be bought when they’re paying attention. Don’t let the next wave of billionaire PAC ads fool you. They’re buying influence, not looking out for you

We can't solve a housing crisis without building more housing. Today we broke ground on the Casanova Residence, which will soon be nearly 100 affordable and supportive homes with on-site services for New Yorkers. Every new home is a step toward a City that everyone can afford.

Mayor Mamdani stands at a podium next to Deputy Mayor for Housing Leila Bozorg.A construction worker in a neon green t-shirt and a white hard hat stands at the Casanova groundbreaking.

Now this is the kind of trash talk we can get behind. We’re containerizing neighborhoods by taking trash off our sidewalks and allowing mid-size buildings to trade in their wheelie bins for a bigger, better, cleaner alternative: Empire Bins. It’s time to put a lid on it, New York.

Note here how Hassett frames more people coming into a struggling area and raising house prices by buying up underused housing stock as a positive, then compare that to how the admin has talked about immigrants coming into a struggling area like Springfield.

Hassett: "Data centers are very good for towns bc they create so many jobs & bring people in with high incomes that can buy houses & stuff like that. So if you take a sleepy town that hasn't seen much in the last 30 years & put a data center there, there are gonna be a bunch of happy residents."

Unbelievable. 57% of MAGAs would still vote for a Republican who'd shared classified information with a foreign government. 66% would vote for one accused of sexual assault, and 72% would vote for a candidate accused of domestic violence. I'm so disappointed in humanity right now.

Particularly given that Trump has done so much of this or similar, I'm a bit sad they didn't include "defraud MAGAts at scale." The support numbers would still be sky-high. But it would be a useful demonstrative. www.politico.com/news/2026/07...

Good morning and happy Thursday to everyone. Republicans get very triggered when you tell them it's absolutely disgusting how Fat Satan and his fuckwaddles are trying to rewrite and distort history of the pandemic while casting Fauci as public enemy No. 1, so let's keep doing it.

I would never eat dinner with Donald Trump. I would never clap or laugh at his jokes. I would never shake his hand. When he attacks me, I wear his scorn as a badge of honor. I founded Democracy Docket to never back down or obey. Subscribe now. demdock.com/4w6emld
