Fresh copies of SKETCH BOOKERS incoming for Richmond Zine Fest, this Saturday at Studio Two Three, 12-6. Free pdf available on my itch page. Advice for keeping a sketchbook, drawing, and making art a part of your life.

Clayton makes a great point here that I think a lot of people dont realize. People pay attention when all you have to say is negative. You are digging yourself a grave made of your own discontent- the internet isn't actually a good place to complain.

Everytime I decide to illustrate anything I end up respecting illustrators more. It's great to have a nice map for my hexcrawl solo game, but, boy, it takes time to make it look good even in an amateur way.

Poster explorations for a CY_BORG project. Coming soon-ish. Why would your players go to Eledine Space Port? To find a missing person? To raid the warehouse of used cybertech? Or to steal Eledine Exolife Launch Vehicle 3 for...something?

Mockup of a poster advertising Eledine Exolife's Low Stable Orbit Community #1, along with technical details on Eledine Space Port and Eledine Exolife Launch Vehicle 3 and instructions on how to enroll in the exolife program.

OK. After going back to annotate my GenCon Haul post so people can go support the same folks I did, I'm gonna start going through the Appx N Jam entries. If you see this and you submitted to the jam, drop a link here so I can find it! There's a bunch to go through, I don't want to miss my friends!

I played through my solo adventure yesterday in about 30-40 minutes. It was really fun!! Even though I wrote it, I was surprised and delighted. I used dice, pencils, and Cairn Barebones Editions (at the park). Play report: I died, but the captive I was trying to rescue escaped!!

Printed and spread out on a picnic table with dice, pencils, a sketchbook, a fanny pack full of art supplies and a bike helmet. There are notes and drawings scribbled on the 1 page dungeon, and dice being used to mark the PC and NPCs.

Due to some specifics on player prep, FOUL is exactly a perfect fit (3 PCs per player funnel for MB)! I'll report back with how it goes. 8-9 players including a few kids! Should be chaotic fun, if nothing else. m-allen-hall.itch.io/foul

Anyone have any good recommendations for funnels or high player count adventures for Mork Borg?!
