This is why their claims of “advocating for women’s safety” when in fact they’re just being virulently transphobic are a joke. Like the churches they mock, they were happy to throw us under the bus at the first sign their hierarchy was threatened. Did they think we'd fucking forget?

Oh no. What will the Democrats do without this <checks note> entitled, obnoxious status quo warrior, with a strong record in being unable to read the room.

The irony of Kareem being the secretary of a ‘Free Speech’ organisation using a veiled threat of legal action to shut down my questions about their relationship with Atheist Ireland, has just dawned on me. This was a tactic that AI used to employ liberally at the time too.

I'm old enough to remember back to July 2024 when the explicitly Christian and SPLC designated hate group, ADF International ,together with 'Free Speech Ireland' funded a summit in Dublin featuring Glinner, Laoise De Brún (The Countess) and Stella O'Malley on the 'Speaking Truth on Gender' panel.
The overwhelming right wing sentiment is that COVID was an engineered bioweapon that was also harmless. Trump overreacted to it by shutting down the country, then engineered a drive to create a vaccine that was the real bioweapon that killed millions, and it's Joe Biden's fault.

Amnesty International UK has revenues of ~£24.1 million, ~75% from individual donations. Rowling was willing to put unlimited resources into making an example of them. Faced with that existential threat, they decided to throw their own employees under the bus. This work will have to fall to others.
