I who am. At least I think I am. Am I? Player of games. Pusher of pedals. Listener of audiobooks. Involuntary gardener trying to keep our pollinator overlords appeased. Sadly still a contributor to greenhouse emissions.

MO's Secratary of State has refused to certify two citizen petitions to be on the Nov ballot claiming MO Constitution defects. Off to the courts we go. Both petitions were approved by the Secretary of State and Attorney General, the required signatures gathered, then submitted for the ballot....🧵

Hoskins rejects Missouri congressional redistricting map referendum, setting up court fight

The Republican secretary of state’s decision was expected. Proponents of placing the GOP-leaning map up for a statewide vote will go to court to put the plan on the November ballot.

Pedophiles are Victims too! This is infuriating. All that these groomers and pedophiles had to do was have their lawyer tell the DOJ that the perpetrator of these heinous crimes was a victim (not even sure that they had to give a farfetched unsubstantiated reason) and the DOJ would redact the name.

Hi, Jeffrey, I met <redacted> today. She is the Lolita from Nabokov, femme miniature (semi colon right parenthesis smiley face) So now I should send you her type of candidates only? Tomorrow we travel to Bern for visas. Kind Regards, <redacted> DOJ filing in response to court order. 6. EFTA02648868 (redacted version shown to right) The in camera documents show that the redacted text contains the identity of a Victim. Specifically, this individual is represented by counsel with whom DOJ has communicated and the counsel has requested the individual be treated as a Victim.
Note the use of "a Victim" despite clear context of two people who's information has been redacted.

In countries that have successfully reversed democratic backsliding in recent years—from Poland in 2023 to Hungary in 2026—opposition movements made prosecuting those who have broken laws a central campaign issue.

Next pedestrian crossing you come to note when you have actually seen the crosswalk and have scanned for pedestrians all the way across. Could you have stopped in time? A mother pushing a stroller, child walking their scooter, or wheelchair at or in the crosswalk would you have hit them?

Very busy stroad in St Louis County area. 40 MPH posted speed limit. Fairly recent un-signaled pedestrian crossing in the distance.

Did I accidentally addict this woodpecker to sugar water? First taste was free, but now that the hummingbird feeder is almost empty, they have to futilely work for their next hit.

Walked by a bZ at a Toyota dealer. Toyota has ceased to care about those outside the car. Sharp, injury focusing angles all over the front end for no reason. Compare to the 2002 Prius. At the time I bought one, Toyota had a whole marketing campaign about its pedestrian-injury-lessening body design.

AMENDMENT 4 CREATES A DOUBLE STANDARD Some argue that changing the Missouri Constitution should require more than a simple majority — that the bar for constitutional amendments should be high. That's a reasonable position. But if the bar is raised, it should be raised for everyone. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

That’s a wrap on bike buses for this school year. Let’s all keep an eye out for these great kids rolling into summer break on two wheels!

Amendment 4 will appear on our primary ballots on August 4, 2026. It would require a majority in EVERY congressional district to pass amendments brought by the people of Missouri — BUT amendments brought by politicians could still pass with a simple statewide majority.

Politicians wrote it. Politicians exempted themselves from it. On August 4th, vote NO on 4!
