The alternative to trans rights is to say that nobody is free to choose how they present themselves. It only feels like freedom for people whose choice already aligns with the government's mandate. "You're free to choose your favorite color if your favorite color is blue."
good progress again today, though far less than I hoped for. turns out it's not easy to frame up a set of shelves perfectly square! got far further than I had any right to though, cause my boyfriend and my new old girliepop both came over and handled 90% of the sanding for me! I am so fuckin tired

Felt REALLY good to just throw together rough plans in a day, muse about how to execute it for another day, then whip up a cut list and just go for it. It's been so long since I've done a big project like this!! Hope I can finish tomorrow!
I went stargazing with partners and friends for the Perseids meteor shower last month! It was a beautiful experience and I took a few film photos to remember it by! each of these was a 15 minute exposure at 50mm f2.8 on some iso400 film I forget the stock of.
Went out toward Mt. Jefferson the other night with friends for the Perseids meteor shower! 500-someodd 15-second exposures netted me 23 meteors on camera, that I can count. This image is the result of stacking every photo I took with some automation in Sequator, and manual masking in Photoshop.
I spent like 12 hours building shelves from scratch today. Felt REALLY good to just throw together rough plans in a day, muse about how to execute it for another day, then whip up a cut list and just go for it. It's been so long since I've done a big project like this!! Hope I can finish tomorrow!

I think the question of whether or not trans people should be included in all aspects of life is a simple & non-negotiable one. If flawed politically survivalistic reasoning means you can’t clear that bar, it tells me that as the stakes rise, anything may be negotiable for you. You’re a threat.
When I say it’s the only question, it is because of the question underlying the question. Which is, ‘Do people deserve dignity, rights & protections?’ If a qualifier changes your answer, whether it’s trans or Black or Palestinian, you have completely failed the trustworthiness test.

I think all bsky queers should learn this lesson. this person took an extremely aggressive approach to OP while I was having a conversation with her. I said this and they said, "What did I attack about her? Quick" we were having a nice conversation! Aggressively inciting infighting doesn't help!
