Nice to see Brits push back against this kind of jingoism. I remember when The Empty Child aired and a British friend was touched by the Doctor's little speech about the "one tiny, damp little island" saying no to Hitler because rah rah they fought back! Unlike those Europeans on the continent!! 🙃

Without their resolve we wouldn’t have our nation’s story. It’s estimated 20-60k French resistance fighters died during the war. These fuckers really are vile bastards 😡😡
