Donkey Kong (94) for #gameboy So far this game really isn't grabbing me. 🤔 Like, the graphics, sound, controls, and stage design are phenomenal, but I don't know... Playing it feels like a chore at best and makes me wanna rage quit at worst. 😅

Another release of Zelda II beat! This time on the little NES Classic! 🤩 No save states. The controller feels a lot more mushy than I'm used and there might be the slightest delay in input. 🤔

Just a reminder to anyone, the Sega Genesis doesn't have "reflections" or anything. 🤔 It's literally just clever programmers drawing sprites upsidedown. 🤯 The same effect was used in another Konami games, Rocket Knight Adventures. ✨

Seriously! The idea that the player is EXPECTED to be able to beat a game nowadays still surprises me! In the 90s I had tons of (most?) games that I just assumed I wasn't intended to beat. But I still had fun playing them because they were fun to play! 😄

Well. I just tried a game called Postal 2 for PC. 😐 I played for over half an hour thinking I was in the tutorial. Nope. I eventually died. Looked up gameplay on YouTube. Realized I had no idea what I was doing. 😅
