I cleared the Fire Tower in Gauntlet 4's Quest Mode. www.twitch.tv/videos/28378... Meshing dungeon-crawling with Gauntlet mechanics works surprisingly well. The frequent shortcuts and mid-tower merchants keep the pace lightning quick. I'm also liking the level-design. #retrogaming #genesis

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

Shatterhand is such a well-made, well-executed NES game I was surprised to learn it's a reskin of a licensed tokusatsu game that barely adheres to its source material. Beyond the cheesy concept and 90s-awesome box art, it's a solid action platformer with fun ideas! #gaming #videogames #retrogames

everybody's trying to create a "community" but i think what they're really doing is just creating a social space large and rich enough that people are there but also a space they control where their voice can realistically be heard, when every other space is eaten up by the biggest players
