I see 30p is cosplaying as a journalist again. Here he is 'undercover' discovering 'manuals' being distributed to migrants in foreign languages. Outrageous. All the while he's standing around - in France - expecting people to speak to him in a foreign language - English.
Just heard a detailed story about a customer complaint which featured the line "it was a foreign call centre so the man wouldn't talk to me because I'm a woman". I asked more details. Turns out it was actually: He asked her name and because it didn't match the account holder, they can't talk to her

We're in a pickle because the requirement for balance on BBC debates + ratings on commercial TV/radio led us to "ANTI-CONSENSUS" format. Well-informed, educated people agree on many things but won't get proportionally higher representation. You can't have everyone agreeing. The show would be over!

This isn't well handled. Heartfelt condolences, but where's the acknowledgement of the author's role as the senior government official responsible for leading the executive department that oversees railway infrastructure management and safety? Where's the "what I'm doing" part??

PSNI don't even mention neck injuries in their most recent statements. Seems all this "beheading" is down to someone screaming that on the video circulating and the right wing media pushing it hard. Breitbart, Mail, Telegraph as well as the Murdoch press. Might as well have handed out petrol.
