Right. New sander, new drill bits, same simmering annoyance! Hopefully tomorrow will go smoother.
Ok, I have done all that I can reasonably do on the deck build today, I've run out of prepared material, and I can't get any more material prepped due to power tool fuckery. I'd hoped to have had almost all the wood readied by Thursday. Not even close. Supremely, massively, utterly annoying.
Anyways, rant over, back to it I guess.

Belt sander is helpfully malfunctioning, so that's the board prep for today interrupted. Ggaahh. Managed to do some work on the bits I can for now. Pain in the arse.
Now that they've (mostly) sorted out his colours, this is without question the best Hot Rod figure I own. Absolutely brilliant.
A week off to sort out more decking stuff, so yeah, now it's raining. Obviously 😂
Treating the ends of more cut boards for the garden deck.
Jake, by the way, was instrumental in helping TFNation get some merch made; the three pin badges. How'd you guys like those? Most of them sold out, so would you want to see them annually?
The most vital thank you is to our own Sarah Bullock. There is a wonderful mentality in the team of if something needs done, we get it done. That can often be at the expense of self care. Meals are skipped/sleep avoided. Sarah keeps us in check and if need be will escort us out of the hall to eat.
The footage of us brawling in the aisle, and me giving Ed a black eye is THANKFULLY not on the socials yet
...that Bombshell becoming Cyclonus could be considered an "animation error". I asked him afterwards. And I'll allow you to imagine his answer for yourselves.
Slept like the biggest sleeping thing, and the first post I wake up to is a G1 Soundwave toy perfectly replicating his box art pose?! Yowzah.
So please, give Andy all the love. And please go check out his stuff, there are treasures there beyond your wildest imagination. And as Jim said in the panel, people who preserve and publish this stuff deserve all the credit.
Oh man. I'd completely forgotten about the BBC2W Ivor The Engine promos. All new, with Oliver Postgate and Anthony Jackson returning. They're up there with the Palin-voiced Clangers series in terms of bringing something back and it being just *right*. Here's one.

Too tired to day to do haul and thoughts. Maybe tomorrow? Instead, here's the one and only commission I placed this time; @geoffsenior4-06.bsky.social finally joins the ranks of my Godzilla collection!
Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
My TFN haul was simply cool alt mode coded, apparently
Hope everyone has had a wonderful TFNation! A huge thanks from myself and Jason Cardy for all the kind words about the opening ceremony video, and additional huge thanks from me to everyone who said they enjoyed the panels I was involved in - you're all deeply smashing!
TFN commissions - a selection of my fave sketches I managed! Prowl, Longarm, and Ironhide. Always grateful to get a chance to draw for people.
Oh my lord there are going to be so many hoarse voices tomorrow at TFN. Vince DiCola Jadel have helped comprehensively destroy everyone's larynx's tonight, in style!
Trying to get a tyre pressure sensor replaced has been a pain. No local garages seem to do it. Dealer I bought the car off I no longer trust. A new Vauxhall dealer were just shit. The places I looked at average out around £250 to replace this one small bit. Finally found a Kwik Fit that would do it.
