A paramilitary group plotted to overthrow the Constitution then conducted a violent attack on America. They were convicted in court of seditious conspiracy, and jailed. Then the leader they aimed to illegally install got power and let them out, their records wiped clean. The Jan. 6 attackers won.

The Senate HELP committee passed a bill that would block the Trump administration from transferring many functions (including postsecondary education) out of the Department of Education, but would allow student loans to be transferred to Treasury.

36 years ago today, the ADA banned discrimination against disabled people in all areas of public life. Trump's executive orders and budget cuts have weakened enforcement, health care access, rights and services for the disabled community. We can't go back. Defend the ADA.

I am older than the ADA. The Disabled community is, uh, one that *anyone* can join at any time for any reason - whether invisible or not, someone you know might be disabled - you might be, too and never knew! This is why it is ALWAYS important to fight for Disability rights and equality. ✌️
