Keep preachin'! I think we need to also reduce the stigma around the word "play". It may be hard to say that you're letting your students PLAY in your AP Calculus class but what you're asking them to do is explore, investigate, draw conclusions, and support their understanding. That's education!

Obviously someone doesn't realize or understand the complexity of actual learning or the role of educators. "Childcare"? Couldn't be further off the mark. Let's not even get started on learner agency...

#UDL isn't about designing, it's about INTENTIONALLLY designing. If the design isn't intentional it is reactionary or instinctual, which are hard to repeat with fidelity. Those that say that #UDL is just good teaching are right. It is good teaching with intentionality. #UDLChat #EduSky

There are school leaders who think the urgency around AI is getting kids into tools. It’s not. It’s not turning skeptic teachers into power users either. The work is in building AI literacy - a critical lens that understands what AI can/can’t do and what it should/shouldn’t do. Education. #edusky
