I haven't even read this yet but I will already amplify. I HAD been using PS daily since 1996, some Adobe product daily since 98. I had taught them since 2013. I even put up with the shift to saas. Until their most recent billing changes. Which were so abusive I cancelled and never looked back.

The GPU is not your enemy. The GPU was intended to channel magic smoke into the drawing of triangles, the virtuous shape. Evil men devised wicked shapes that should never have been drawn, and have used their influence to hoard the GPUs and twist the magic smoke toward the shape of their perversions.
Gmail user, same email since 2005. I tried every new service they had for a decade. Still miss Reader. For the moment I still have Google Fi. I've recently moved everything to Infomaniak. I am in the process of deleting everything Google and will treat them as persona non grata like I do meta.

Also - how much of a mark do you have to be to be swayed by this? If it worked the ad would be the product not just be video of the actress. How willing to be lied to do you have to be to be the target audience for this scam? It's like the misspellings in scammer emails, weeding out the competent

Today’s Executive Order creating a *nationwide* military “quick reaction force” and setting up an online portal to permit random fascist vigilantes to join soldiers is one of the scariest things I’ve seen in U.S. politics in my adult life. Why is it not getting more attention?
Will it change investors' calculus, or stem the tide of mass adoption at work and in schools? I think we need to seize this opportunity to do all that we can to see that it does. This is an emperor has no clothes moment, and a potential point of weakness for the AI oligopoly.

The military takeover of Washington is not a “distraction” from Epstein. It’s a military takeover of Washington, which is an even bigger deal, and those of us who kill brain cells reporting on this stuff knows it’s been an explicit goal since before the election.
The actual physical reality of the planet is that incident solar is abundant. The new technological reality is that we can now harness renewables at scale, opening up ways to limit extraction + pollution. We are not just making shit up to feel good. This is the world we want to build and live in.
