bumping this because I think it's worth repeating: the Microsoft/Xbox boycott is not all or nothing. not only do BDS recognise that for many, boycotting Microsoft's OS and Office software is nigh impossible, but even the 'easier' Xbox boycott has tiers of commitment

Like, absolutely, it would be great if people abstain from purchasing any games published by Microsoft and their subsidiaries, but I'd rather more people just think about the boycott and take even small steps (like cancelling Game Pass) than assume the boycott is super strict and ignore it.

Watching some people play Big Walk and it kinda looks like Destiny raid mechanics (with the accompanying communication and opportunities to come up with bad names for everything in every puzzle) but with way less shooting.

I knew I was going to love Splatoon Raiders but I did not expect that it would have the best shooting sandbox since Destiny 2. Tinkering with the gadgets to create different playstyles is deeply satisfying and endlessly expressive and the more I play of this game the more I love its systems.

alls I'm saying, PR companies, is I singlehandedly created, manufactured, and funded my own board game in an incredibly crowded Kickstarter field to the tune of 10,000 bucks on a zero dollar budget, without backerkit, without a baked in audience, completely organically. Now it's in stores.

It is genuinely bizarre that we’ve become acclimatized to right wingers throwing a tantrum every time a black person (particularly a black woman) is cast in something, but are also supposed to pretend that this is not racism but related to some other substantive concern.

Twice a year, Hawai'i experiences a strange moment where the sun appears to be exactly overhead & anything that is completely vertical casts no shadow. Let's learn about Lāhainā Noon, subsolar points & 'Kau ka lā i ka lolo', meaning "the sun rests on the brains."

From a Reddit forum, a photo of a can of coconut milk with a blue label, papyrus text and a flip-top, on a sidewalk. It seems to hover because there's no visible shadow. The pavement is sort of unevenly colored, with bright spots, and the grass along it is green and lush.
