there's a pretty simple connection here 1. humans become good at what they practice doing 2. outsourcing to an AI or even other people, means you have stopped doing the thing 3. if you stop doing the thing, you will stop improving, and, long term, get worse at it (cont.)

Zi@majormcdoom.bsky.social · 3w agoI've said this before, but Godot just lets me get things done. It's lightweight, agile, and you can *really* customize the editor/workflow with your own scripts. Plus open source means you're not tied to a shitty corporation. You can take the code and leave.
The game idea -> overscope pipeline is real. All I wanted to do was make a silly social VR game. Now I’m making a decentralized networking library.

correct they view words as a tool to be applied as necessary to achieve their end goal (power and money) and good faith does not register as a real concept to them, which is why you see them pivot in lockstep to the new party line and why they seem so confused by genuine showings of principle

Trying to simplify state and connection protocol stuff for my networking library will still supporting quick handoffs between rooms. When it’s all done it’ll be great and so nice but at the moment it’s just something to trudge through.

looks like update 1.2.0 of my icon pack for #godotengine @icons will contain a little over 100 additional icons! release planned sometime this week :)

We made a fake repo with fake bounties, and the bots are applying fake PRs, so we know who is fake, and we can ban them from the Coolify repo. IQ over 1000
Enjoying Mina the Hollower so far. I don’t think I *love* the bone loss on death system (as others have mentioned). The idea that I need to bank more and more each time in order to actually “save” them kinda rubs me the wrong way.
