A somewhat maximalist, very collage-heavy experiment piece this month, using a lot of my photography and some old Slovenian art

Digital collage and painting on vertical canvas
Theme: Fantasy / Dark fantasy / Experimental
Character: My OC Lubi (he/him, transmasc) and a skeleton
#Artsky #QueerArt #TransArt #DarkFantasy #SwordAndSorcery

This piece is almost entirely composed of photographs I took. It features a central long corridor that disappears into the darkness, every side of it a different texture. The left and right walls are photos of old walls, the ceiling is wood, and the floor is an enlarged photo of a gingerbread cookie I bought in a Polish shop in Ljubljana once, overlaid with an assortment of Turkish delight from Lidl. I've had these two photos for like 3 years and I'm so happy to finally put them to use lmao

In the front, slightly left stands a knight, who was traced with a lasso tool over a relief sculpture from Celje. He's wearing a dark armour with very colourful accents on skirt and flag, and his head is a fire. On his knee guards, one can spot a unicorn and a stag beetle in trans flag colours.

In the upper right corner, a dragon's head is sticking out of a wall, the fire it breathes joining in with the knight's fire hair. For this head I used a photo from an ornament on one of the 'healing springs' near my hometown. It's coloured in somewhat garish colours that reoccur across the picture, magenta, aqua, green and blue, and notably three of its fangs depict the white, pink and blue or the trans flag.

Lastly, underneath the head stands a skeleton, cut from the famous Danse Macabre fresco from the Holy Trinity Church in Hrastovlje. The skeleton is orange with green shadows, and splashes of magenta on some parts of its body.

Bird of Prey (Samus Aran from Metroid Ravenous)

Digital painting portraying the Nintendo character Samus Aran, from the Metroid series, as a ravenous creature on top of a totem.
Samus, a woman wearing a full futuristic space suit with giant round shoulders and an arm canom, crouches on top of a totem while holding a pink flame with a off-putting bird claw shaped hand. Her arm canom on the other hand oozes a yellow substance. She looks at the camera like she has just noticed us.

Bluntly: The Second Coming of Jesus, gentle soul that He is, was confused on arrival and black bagged by a monstrous evangelical mega-church. Lucifer recruited *you* to free Him. And fuck shit up. Check the full thread. Then support the #TTRPG you didn't know you needed: ko-fi.com/revcasey/shop

Black background, black and white + low color image of Jesus on the cross against a stone wall, money in the shape of the cross transparent overlaid on the crucified Jesus, blood red letters in an arc around and above it ("BLOOD.MONEY.GOSPEL"), white stamped letters in black area at bottom ("Written by Rev Casey" + "Published by Thought Punks")

The Gist
Jesus Christ came back. Of course He came back. He said He would. The problem is that He came back gentle and confused and asking questions about sparrows and rent prices.
Before He could get His bearings, Pastor Dominion Crale of the First Church of the Perpetual Tithe had Him zip-tied in an Escalade and driven to the compound in forty-seven minutes flat. That was eighteen months ago.
The main Cathedral now operates HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD™, a multi-level wellness sacrament pipeline moving vials of genuine messianic blood at a year’s Toronto/London/Paris professional’s salary per unit (Blessed Faithful Anointed Healing Moment™), the cost of a large luxurious home in Tokyo or NYC (Chosen Hosts Exclusive Miracles Package™), a tier only reachable by mega-millionaires and billionaires (The Perfected Saints Full Indulgence Membership™), and a newly launched Divine Disciples Triple Elite Plus Eternal Covenant™ option for the most wealthy that comes with a personal blessing, concierge,

They operate on artificial scarcity (above and beyond the limits of their gruesome extraction process). The First Church ensures that even the Eternal Covenant™ tier has a waiting list. Lower tier lottery winners can wait in line even through the night to receive their “blessings” on High Holy Days™. (Universal Love For All™ financing plans available.) The Vatican filed a complaint. It is in a drawer somewhere one guy has the keys to, and nobody’s seen him in a while. The SEC wrote a memo about drafting a proposal to explore a process to review the complaint. It’s in another drawer.
Jesus is in the Sanctum Sub-Basement, connected to the Eternal Harvest Array. He cannot die. He cannot leave. He has been patient about this. He waits, faithful, hoping, suffering. He waits for you.

You have been recruited by Lucifer. Yes, THAT Lucifer. (Please don’t call them “Satan” or “The Devil.” I would say if you value your life, but that is the least of what the Morningstar can take.)
Lucifer (pronouns variable and flexible, presentation business casual, stress beginning to show through the seams) sought you out personally. The pitch ran for almost two hours and included a PowerPoint with extensive citations.
The end of the pitch: “I know how this looks. I know you have questions. That’s too bad. It’s none of your business, really. What I need you to understand is this situation is more personally offensive to me than your little brain can grasp. I pursued every available channel for months. I am standing in this awful parking lot talking to you, exactly because there are no more channels. Please. You will be well-treated for your help. And I am asking nicely. I am… not good at asking nicely.”

been home sick watching my fiancee play disco elysium and it inspired me to gin up a portrait of one of my apocalypse keys NPCs

a digital painting stylized to resemble an oil painting of an older white man with thick circular glasses. he has short, dark, styled hair with grey streaks. his expression is serious and neutral. the right side of his face is in dark shadow, and the upper left side of his head has bright orange light reflecting off of it. the background is a dark blue, and behind the man’s head is a painterly light blue triangle at an angle. he is wearing a dull brown blazer with a dark blue sweater and white button up shirt, with a pale blue tie.
