A little tutorial to avoid a common mistake with the pectorals connected with the shoulders! When the arms lift, the pecs shape changes.

If you are an artist struggling with a nagging discomfort or pain when you work. Stop. Go and get that shit checked out and start doing recommended, corrective exercises. It will not get better if you just push through. It will get worse and harder to correct. Please take care of yourself.

here's a Hot Art Tip: when drawing, try to take a 5 minute break every hour or so to do something else. rest your eyes, stretch your finger muscles, and try to occupy a different space from your workstation. Avoid social media if possible. I've found those kinds of breaks to be v helpful

All you newbies drawing their first comic and haven't printed their comic before: 300 dpi, CMYK colours, bleed and safety, 0 0 0 100 K black text on a separate layer. Make sure you have all of these on all of your comics files, otherwise you'll end up like me having to fix 660 pages of my webcomic

Normalize inconsistency in your art. Normalize not making every art piece super detailed and intricate. Normalize just creating art for the sake of it.

Our work reaches communities, what we create, share & show makes a difference. Art cannot be separated from humanity. Keep making things that showcase the world you want

1. Delete your twitter account (am deleting mine tomorrow) 2. Flip to Signal for all your texting, with disappearing messages 3. Push the Bluesky team for private settings 4. Assume you are being monitored in all public and private settings henceforth. 5. Get your affairs in order.

One note, just to be safe: BlueSky's DMs aren't encrypted. Don't put stuff there that you wouldn't want to be made public.
