So tired of this shit. Literally any concept artist can doodle up a better solution in minutes. And you know itโs original and not just plucked from some other IP. And they can iterate on it in realtime, allowing the whole team to be in on the process. We had this process for fucking decades.

I regret to inform you that Zero Parades is really good. One thing that really sticks out to me is that it matters that Hershel is a woman. There are plenty of games with female protags where the gender is just sort of a biographical detail and that's it, or that focus on a man's idea of womanhood.

Writing advice thread re: first drafts! 1. From my writing pedagogy teacher in college: hot water can't flow if the faucet isn't on. Might take a minute for things to get to the temp you want, but that's okay!

Comic book artist search post: Looking for a Black British artist, preferably from the West Midlands (not essential but would be a big plus), who has a naturalistic style and comfortable with slice of life drama/comedy. If they're familiar with the 1980s and 90s, that's a big plus, too.
