Under a Binface government, anyone who doesn’t accept human-made climate change as fact will be sent back to school, from Year 1 right the way to A Levels, to see if anything goes in the second time round. #VoteBinface

I'm cynical but passionate and optimistic about the future. I'm into landscape fauna ecology especially in the arid and semi arid zones. 😁 PS not a huge fan of cat and puppy photos.
Interesting that it takes a group of scientists to reiterate what indigenous groups have been saying for a very very long time.
When ancient ecosystems are burnt too frequently, the biodiversity is disrupted, further threatening endangered species, Don Bradshaw, David Lindenmayer, Phil Zylstra and Kingsley Dixon write. #southwesternWA #biodiversityhotspot #controlledburning
That has to be the dumbest outcome measurement I've seen in a long time (and I see a LOT of bad research in my job). Back when I had cats that were allowed outside, almost everything they caught was super dead.
Another #JunkScience study to deflect attention from what needs to be done. If only the researches had the feintest ideas about cat predatory behaviour.
A methodologically flawed and problematic study by Kate Dutton-Regester, Jacquie Rand and Antong Liang, and equally disappointing reporting by Marina Trajkovich 👉 www.abc.net.au/news/2026-07...

I have gotten to the point of I don't care. The mine should close sooner. If the workers cannot find alternative skill sets/employment in the next 2 years then tough. All the trades should be able to move on and get a job. Those who moved to the area for work, they will just have to move again.

Being in the historic position is one thing, but a beige Democratic party is unlikely to take full advantage of their advantage. Sound familiar? We have a beige party led by a very innocuous ineffective beige man in government who promised everything, but is scared of doing anything.
The data guru said the party is putting up "historic" polling numbers so far in this midterm cycle.
I was just informed the errant #Egerniakingii record from Qld was likely to be an escape. It only goes to feed my disrespect and disdain for those who keep birds, reptiles, whatever, as some sort of toy they can #crossbreed for different shapes and colours. 1/3
