Imagine not only almost sinking one of the most decorated and historic clubs in France (BO), but also the one with the most growth potential (Nice). I'm praying that the latter doesn't come to pass, but whatever happens, JB Aldigé is a bigger cowboy than John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, combined.

The fact of the matter is that England did not lose because Argentina was better, or because of Tuchel's tactical decisions. They lost because their fans and, to a larger degree, the English public, are simply not deserving of a world cup final and never will be. This is the hard truth. Sorry.

An all-timer of a mentality meltdown. The game was under control, England had the measure of the world champions, and they invited *this* Argentina team to lay siege to them. Come in Agent Tuchel, mission abgeschlossen.
On the plus side, Argentina beating them in the semi final, ideally in controversial and heartbreaking circumstances, is the best way they can possibly get knocked out.
This ends with Haaland capitalising on an English defensive lapse.
Also Harry Kane : Made in Munich '10 German Bombers' has never rung so hollow.

RIP Bonnie Tyler. I had the fortune of being in the live studio audience of Nevermind The Buzzcocks, when she was on. She was utterly hilarious and completely stole the show, like your stereotypical lewd South Wales auntie, 2 bottles of prosecco deep down the club on a Friday night.
