Since moving to Ann Arbor, Bella and Anthony have played the Summer Game every year and it has become a favorite summer activity. To celebrate their shared love of AADL, Anthony proposed to Bella by hiding custom lawn signs and codes that then decorated their backyard nuptials. Congrats you two! ❤️

One of the actions #SummerGame players can take for points is to make a public comment at a meeting of the AADL Board of Trustees. This always makes for very rewarding civic engagement, but this young player took it to the next level and displayed a preternatural grasp of parliamentary procedure!

Last night, the AADL Board approved a transfer agreement, for the air rights above the Library Lane garage for inclusion in our new Downtown Library project. This milestone is the next step in a long journey, and we're looking forward to delivering an incredible new dream library for our community!

Today is the 20th anniversary of the opening of Pittsfield Branch Library! Suspended over a protected wetland that is home to birds, turtles, and muskrats, Pittsfield Branch had over 150,000 visits in FY25. Huge thanks to @debbiedingell.house.gov for her congressional tribute to the occasion!
