I've been using Finch for a while to gamify self care and keep track of things. They're doing a Trace My Roots challenge right now. Today I listened to Quarashi and was immediately brought back to 2005 and my first trip to the US. It's amazing how music can transport you back to a time in the past.

Finally ripped out the too short cuffs of the pullover I knit last year and am knitting them longer. I'm also using the opportunity to make them more snug by knitting them on smaller needles rather than by reducing the number of stitches. Luckily I had some of the original yarn left.
Not to brag, but our product has been foldable since 1828.

Silent movies often featured chase scenes, which were often the most exciting/interesting scenes. So, ‘cut to the chase’ came to mean “get to the important part.”
Apparently Pratchett was a very angry man, and I suspect he did something like young Tiffany here.

Browsing Kickstarter can get expensive, fast. But how is one supposed to be able to resist Books and Chocolate?! Especially with flavors like Jólabókaflóðið (I'm Icelandic), Pride and Prejudice (I'm in a Jane Austen class), Watson, Gatsby, Frankenstein, Maltese Falcon (read for previous classes).

Ugh! I posted the Any Human Ever website earlier today thinking it was nifty only to have someone say it's "AI" slop. There was an option to take the next step and get an "AI" generated image, which I didn't do, but if the entire thing is slop rather than a basic random whatever generator, no thanks
I think Where Is My Cow is the only "Discworld" book I haven't read.

If you aren't already aware of It's Storytime With Wil Wheaton I highly recommend it. I have discovered new (to me) authors via short stories and have then gone on to read / listen to longer works of theirs. Plus it's a nice opportunity to listen to @wilwheaton.net narrating / talking 😊
