Five million visitors. One safer city. As London welcomes millions this summer, we're continuing to make our city safer. In Westminster alone, neighbourhood crime is down by 36% in the last year.
Neighbourhood crime is down across London thanks to my record investment in the Met, the hard work of officers and prevention work by my London Violence Reduction Unit. Making London safer remains our priority and the latest figures show we're making progress.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Ignore the haters. The evidence is clear: crime is falling and London remains one of the safest big cities in the world.
The naysayers keep talking London down, but we’ll stick to the facts. Met data shows neighbourhood crime is down 14%, with 35,000 fewer offences and 13,000 fewer phone thefts in the last year alone. The evidence is clear: London is safe for all to enjoy this summer.

Funding illegal Israeli settlements is not charitable activity. It is extremist activity. Working with Israeli human researchers, I found at least 32 UK charities who have sent £28 million to settlements in recent years. There’s a likely taxpayer subsidy of at least £5 million through Gift Aid.
Shameful from Reform and a good example of why you should never share anything by that godawful aggregator account, which just happens to be run by a Reform councillor. Obviously prostate cancer is a particular problem for black men, who are twice as likely to suffer from it in their lifetimes
The truth is that settler terror would not be happening if the Israeli government didn’t want it to. Settlers post where they’re going to be and when – they publicize their plans to attack Palestinians. They brag about the attacks they’ve carried out. (5/6)
