This is true. It is cheaper to keep an EV on the road than a gas car. There are less moving parts. Electric motors require very little maintenance. This does not count the savings from fuel. Also, it is fun and funny to drive an EV into a gas station to wash the windshield and drive away.

I am more and more aware that there is something so deep about creativity that some of us will pursue it at all costs, while entire industries will spend billions to fake it.
Reading the conclusion to "Immediacy, or The Style of Too Late Capitalism" by @annakornbluh.bsky.social and I am reminded of Jack Dollhausen, who said that a goal of his work was to prevent the occurrence of the infinite signal-to-noise ratio made possible by digital data tranmission.
Every time my representative in congress says "bipartisan" I look forward to having a different representative in congress. The Republican party is not a partner with which one can work in good faith.

The Palm Pilot is the worst device I've ever tried to use. The '+' end of the AAA battery fit against the spring. It was just wrong on every level.

This is a great example of the way violent movies with anti-violent pretentions traffic in violence and are in fact pro-violence. Almost every anti-war coded war movie is in fact a celebration of war.

I will be showing some work on June 26 in Atascadero, California. I will also be teaching a workshop on August first and second at the same location.
I recommend a reading of Second Hand Time by Svetlana Alexievitch. I started it on election night 2024 and it helped me get through 2025.
