The partner of Johan Guerrero, who was killed by an immigration agent this week, described him as a tireless worker and doting father who would do anything for his 3-year-old daughter.

Wow. The ICE shooter in Maine asked his ex-wife to "to lie for him and to cover for his character." She said he was abusive and had previously reported concerns about him to his military superiors. He was also a volunteer firefighter, but was removed after several spats with department leadership.

This contradiction isn't talked about enough. We can't want prices to rise (for home value to appreciate) and fall (for homes to be affordable) at the same time!

Maridee was a 76-year old Vashon Island resident who rides with Rainbow Riders and was in attendance at a trans-support rally at City Hall just last month, as highlighted in this article. We've truly lost a great member of the community.

PNW utilities are spending millions of their customers' $ to prevent wildfires, while asking for liability shields. A better idea is more oversight of utilities' spending so that we can prevent megafires AND the runaway electricity rates that squeeze budgets and undermine electrification.
