Stefano Guzzetti is an Italian film composer who asked me to sing on a project he was working on which was mainly cover versions sung by various singers. I chose Love's Riddle by The Steve Miller Band & the track is going to appear on In A Strange Place released Aug 21 on @glassmodern.bsky.social.

Photo of me, Lol Hammond & Charlie Hall from the time I played on 3 tracks on The Drum Club's 'Everything is Now' LP back in 1993. The tracks were recorded in Youth's studio & it was more or less the first time I'd been asked to contribute to someone else's record (a bit scary but def worth it!).
I had a nice chat recently with Rob Hughes about Laura Nyro for the recent issue of @uncutmagazine.bsky.social. Some of you might remember that I wrote a song about Laura many moons ago and I was very privileged to be able to see her perform in the 90s so it was lovely being able to talk about her.
