the mainstream press praising rod liddle in death are not unaware he was a bigoted pedophile, they like him for it. the people in their in-group, at the top of their hierarchy, getting away with crimes signals that the world is in order. it is a moral good, to them. the bigger the crimes the better
i'd say "pay attention to who has kind things to say about rod liddle, the racist pedophile, following his death" but to no surprise it is the entirety of the mainstream british press

She spent her final weeks in office ripping down controls on industrial chicken farming, which destroys our rivers. She did so at the behest of corporate lobbyists. Her job before joining the government? Corporate lobbyist.
The British media isn't worthless. It's a valuable indicator of the values of its ruling class owners.
