Boring nobody with obvious, common-sense views: communist, permaculture, LUFC, Wales. I enjoy to block. Probably ADHD. Impatient, angry.

Darryl Cooper, a Holocaust revisionist, appeared again on Tucker Carlson's show with a strange claim: that after the Revolution, Bolsheviks erected a statue of Judas Iscariot as part of their campaign of religious persecution. He claims they did so in Moscow. A thread.

This is going to be a slow burn story that gets people more and more angry the more they hear about it. Some asshole billionaires are blowing holes in the Moon, a thing everyone loves.

This is a smart, because senior politicians and press have been treating reactionary crackpots, vicious wingnuts and straight up fascists as sage and judicious advisors on radicalisation, extremism and racism for at least a decade. This convict neo-Nazi will fit right in with the rest.

In a statement Bonehill-Paine wrote: "The last 24 hours have shown that a lot of people do not understand how terrible I feel about the things I did when I was much younger.
" I know that my previous actions continue to cause pain in the Jewish community. I had thought that getting involved in my local council and working hard for my community was a good way to show how much I have changed and that I want to give something back."
He went on: "Rather than standing as a local council candidate, I believe that my experience is better used supporting Kemi Badenoch in her ongoing mission to combat the antisemitism and extremism that is dividing our nation. I have therefore informed the Party of my decision to withdraw from next year's council election and Kemi has instead offered that I become an adviser to the Conservative Party's Culture and Integration Commission, specifically focusing on how young men become radic-alised."

Rafa is a straight up oaf, and I could easily believe he’s dumb enough to take this at face value. Not least because he is *literally linking to the propaganda website of a convicted neo-Nazi criminal*, in the belief that this supports his smart and excellent point.

The whole thing, as first person account of "anti-Zionism" blending with paranoid antisemitic conspiracy theory, is grimlyfamiliar from radical left although reporting of him as ex neo-Nazi frames it as rightwing pathology. www.thecrewkerneman.com/ inside-the-m...

French forces held a fierce defensive perimeter around Dunkirk and lost 18,000 souls. 40,000 became POWs. Without their resolve we wouldn’t have our nation’s story. It’s estimated 20-60k French resistance fighters died during the war. These fuckers really are vile bastards 😡😡

He was imprisoned in 2015 and says that he abandoned his far-right views while in prison. Since he was only released in 2018, when did he have the opportunity to encounter this antisemitism in Corbyn’s Labour Party?

I also encountered the antisemitism that was within the Labour Party, particularly under Jeremy Corbyn. I found myself meeting with white working class, old school socialists who seemed like respectable people, but who seemed openly supportive of antisemitic conspiracies, and that was well before the attacks of

Me: (a smart columnist, looking at claims made by an ex-Tory neo-Nazi booted out of the party for crimes, now standing as a Tory councillor whole doing a rehabilitation tour parroting the agreed media line in his new “anti-extremism” gig) This is extremely convincing stuff, and very worrying.

Interesting passage in the mea culpa on antisemitism from Tory council candidate at centre of selection row, supporting the view
- fiercely denied by most on left at the time - that Corbyn was a magnet drawing antisemitic cranks into Labour.
By 2015, when I was 22 turning 23, this ideology had become my whole exis-tence. I welcomed Jeremy Corbyn's election as Labour leader because I saw him as hostile to Israel and aligned with anti-Zionist politics. In my mind, all of this was part of the same war. Alongside those I associated with, I began targeting Jewish MPs and becoming loudly vocal about what we called "Jew-ish infiltration". One of my peers had been arrested and jailed for targeting Luciana Berger in an antisemitic cam-paign. Rather than seeing that as a

Why is it that in Kemi Badenoch’s terms an ex Neo Nazi with a string of criminal convictions should have a ‘second chance’ as a Tory politician? Couldn’t they do just about anything else? Get a job? Volunteer? Stay well away from political power?
