Well this is a fun game. I’ve long thought Walter Benjamin, Fernando Pessoa, and Mina Loy all had ADHD (and that this was, indirectly, a reason I was drawn to them, long before I was diagnosed). Who wants to add to the list?

If I wanted to protect the most prestigious and highly paid jobs for the social groups who usually hold them I'd probably design an education system that discouraged poorer children from studying the entry qualifications for these jobs as early as possible..

I’m a journal editor. I’m confident people are submitting AI slop papers in the hope of a Sokal-style gotcha. Which may be fine, provided that the experiment is pre-registered, and ethics board-approved. Otherwise it will be worse than worthless, a waste of time we don’t have:
Are we doing this again? Do we never learn? As far as I understand he would have no teaching responsibilities (correct me if wrong). Think about all the censorship against colleagues who spoke out on Gaza. Someone thought their views were repellent. The Left can't afford this.
