I had to code and pronounce a time of death on a respiratory therapist colleague. There's a memorial plaque for her outside the emergency department to this day. I wrote and re-wrote my will. I will never forgive these ghouls trying to rewrite history and deny our experience.

Chad Loder@chadloder.dev · 4d agoThe diarrhea lettuce company, Taylor Farms, uses slave labor contracted from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The backbreaking labor is often performed by imprisoned Mexican nationals who would be otherwise ineligble to work in the US. They are paid $1.50 an hour.

Once more: Mamdani understands that you can't just do things in politics and expect voters will notice on their own and thank you for it. You've got to work just as hard selling yourself to voters once you're in office as you did selling yourself to them to get into office. This is the way.

The Democrats should make good policy and realize Republicans are going to make up lies about socialism regardless of whether the DSA, which is, at its heart, a coalition of Democrats, does or does not exist. I am again asking Republicans like Mona Charen to focus on their own fucked up party.

If you’re tempted by a democratic socialist this year, think of what use Republicans will make of these victories, and ask whether you want to do favors for fascists.
