This comic nails something I say all the time. I never stop loving whom I’ve loved, even if our amity never returns. Estranged friends are still loved, former partners are still dear to my heart. Tectonic forces may distance us, but can never sever completely the energy that brought us together 💞

In an age of comics that can be little more than wikipedia entries with spot illos, this is terrific advice. No small number of memoir comics could learn a lot from this, too.
