just to be excruciatingly clear it is also not okay to shoot the target of your warrant as an arresting LEO. the warrant is not a warrant to shoot someone. it is a warrant for arrest.
This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.
WHOA DHS does not say that the agent feared for his life… just the vague concern for “public safety.” So he killed him just because he did not want him in America, not because of any specific threat to agents?
it’s hard to explain how much shit like this has radicalized people. like i’m a white middle-aged broad who’s always been liberal but i’ve gone full-on “abolish ICE/reform scotus/the next dem candidate must commit to mass prosecutions” and you will not sway me from that position.

It really is that simple: there's no reason for an agency tasked with "Immigration and Customs Enforcement" to function as a gestapo that invades neighborhoods and shoots people. Why do they have military weapons and use military tactics? They're supposed to be paperwork clerks.

Let me be clear: Federal immigration enforcement should NOT be using deadly force against anyone in our communities. Period. We need a full, independent investigation, and we need answers.
