At one point I imaged hitting the Pechersk-Lavra would be such a humiliating self-own for the regime they'd actually feel some level of shame. But I see that it was *spins wheel* - a Patriot missile!

A salient point here: Baunov says Russia's demands are modeled on the 1960 Cyprus arrangement, in which Greece, Turkey, and UK were named guarantors with the right of armed intervention. (Turkey exercised that right in 1974, annexing a third of the island.) In other words, no Korea-style DMZ.

Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. A video of the shooting appears to show that a gun was taken from the man before the first shot was fired. x.com/BillMelugin_...

Deploying essentially all of your available resources to terrorize one city at a time, in a very large country with many big cities scattered across a continent, is not a sound strategy for regime consolidation.

I've heard rumors that Philadelphia is next for the ICE invasion after Minneapolis. Maybe I'm wrong, but 1) More than 11% of all ICE agents are in Minneapolis, and they've utterly failed to pacify the city. 2) Philly is 5x the size of Minneapolis. 3) "Minnesota nice" is a thing. We don't have that.

There is no reason for armed troops to be in the nations capital. Full stop. Panhandlers in DuPont Circle are not a reason to do this. Are we looking at another Kent State?

It’s not just FLAS. It’s all the Title VI area studies centers. And dozens of labs & postdocs & research opportunities for undergrads funded by NSF and NIH grants. All gone. But the public won’t be aware of the actual consequences unless our leaders loudly & collectively explain to them the crisis.

This is why I tell people not to look at splotches on the map. They don't tell you if it's a company sized element holding an area or a couple guys on motorcycles who will be dead before the map is updated.
