I'll say it again for the 100th time. Poverty begets crime. You cannot be "tough on crime" whilst increasing poverty faster than we've ever seen before.
FYI: I’m on last 2 weeks of my Masters thesis before I submit it. I’m having a lazy weekend as it’s in final polish, & I’m not entirely sure what to do with myself… I’m considering PhD, by publication as topic is new & everchanging. Monograph is a slog I don’t want to repeat: 40k words was not fun.
