Russia used cluster munitions against densely populated areas of Kyiv. The pattern of these attacks points to an effort to destroy not only lives, but also Ukrainian culture, identity, and the ability of Ukrainians to live freely in their own country.
Russia's attack on Kyiv on August 1 killed Olena and her 18-year-old daughter Kateryna. They were rushing to a shelter... Olena was a project manager of a grocery store chain. Kateryna worked as a salesperson in one of the stores. Deepest condolences....

People in Dnipro had an added problem today after a Russian attack. An ammonia leak caused many to suffer with painful eyes. An ammonia pipeline at a business was damaged. Emergency services report it was dealt with quickly with no threat. Elsewhere cleaning up continued.
