It's my thesis that the Habsburg/Hapsburg lip/jaw was noticed as a family trait only in the mid-C19 (so sez ngram viewer), but I can't find any decent historiography of the issue, despite it being so notorious. There's loads of medical speculation, but that's not what I'm after. Any ideas? Pls RT
